Anything that was shiny is now black
I really like matte black because I've plasti-dipped everything that was chrome to black on the exterior of the car. That being said, if I can get some gunmetal quicker... so be it. I really like them both.

Looks great! I'm pretty conservative and will probably end up with the 4.5 backspace, but the deeper dish looks so much better!

My puppy approves. (He never stays still)

Just for reference if others are interested, the backspacing is 4.50" Sticks out very slightly.

What is the finish on the rims - is it powder coat? If so, can wheels be re-powder coated to change the color? What would it take for a machine shop to cut a lip or something on the center to fit a center cap?

They are painted. Im sure they could be blasted and coated in whatever a person could want!

Shouldn't be too difficult to carve a lip for a center cap.

BUT, I really like the no cap look :)

I don't like the no center cap look at all. I wonder if the SCS folks would include a set of their center caps with a purchase of these.

Ive actually got a set of the matte dark bronze center caps sent to me by another bad ass member that has the Stealth 6 model and went with a TRD cap.

I'd be more than happy to send them over to you, since Im not going to machine the wheel to make them work.

The TRD cap will fit in the SCS cap? Thanks for the offer Chadspride. I may just take you up on that. First, I need to decide what offset to get. Right now I am running the stock rims, which are 16x7, +15 mm offset, with Goodrich All Terrain 285/75R16. At full steering wheel input, the tires rub on the frame. I see the SCS come in 0 mm and -25 mm. I am guessing the -25 mm ones will cause the tire to stick out past the fender flare and may also cause the tire to rub on the inner fender. The 0 mm I would think would improve the frame rubbing.

You got it right about the offset.

The TRD center cap will not fit the F5 model (as will no center cap without machining the wheel to make a grove for the clips.

Wire brush, sand paper, then brillow.

Clean thoroughly with water and a rag

Then clean with rubbing alcohol or something of the like

    Tape and spray!
