Icons are for fags. Some like the ride characteristics of them on the street because they’re stiffer and lean less. And then when you’re loaded down for camping or with a couple people in the car they ride soft.

Which is all neat shit. But the number of people I’ve seen break Icon coilover top hats is insane. They number of people that have leaking Icons straight out of the box is insane. The number of people who have had Icons break 1 week after install is insane.

This happened last week to someone on this forum (shhhhh)

So neato if you like Icons and have never had a problem. Consider yourself lucky. Downsouth has stated multiple times that they have the worst internal tolerances out of anyone in the industry. King is king in the Ultra 4 world. Even ADS has 2 or 3 trucks.

I just would never run them given the choice.

Yikes that looks like a day ruiner.

When I asked DSM about running my current Icons or the blown Kings, they weren't shy at all about saying the Kings.

I hear Jeep fags hate Kings. Say they leak a lot. Wonder how much of that is actually true

Eh, pretty sure everyone in here is running Icons or has run Icons. So at least they have great marketing.

possibly, i know i see more Kings/Fox out wheeling than more Icons on the street. For what its worth, who knows.

ICON went and attacked IG with marketing so there is a feather in their cap.

    Run the steelies you have.

I've been dailying the 4Runner while I deal with rubbing on the F150, it's kind of fun. Haven't driven it this much in a while.

What? That isn't how that works. Wider tire + skinny rim =More force on bead

The ground connects to the tire, the tire connects to the wheel, the wheel connects to the axle. The force of the tire translates into the bead of the wheel no matter what, that’s the only thing they’re connected by. I realize it might be hard to picture, but I’m not wrong

In typical Ramon fashion.. new mods and parts are pictured in their original packaging, ready for storage. :D
