Need some thoughts on this truck, my chick has had her eye on it. She just wants a big ass lifted truck again and I don't know shit about dodges. I say it's not practical and it's a cheap lift and I want her in a tundra but she wants what she wants. So does anyone know enough to comment about what to look for in this truck? Problems to be on the watch for? Known issues? Etc. Etc. Probably going to look at it with her this afternoon.
Edit: this is just going to be a get around town truck with some dirt roads here and there. Not looking for a serious off roader or anything.

Yea the low miles is a major plus, is the 5.7 really that bad? Just slow?

About the steering and ball joints....I've heard before that dodge used some kind of "plastic lined" ball joints in previous years. This was to achieve a better ride but at the sacrifice of quicker wear and tear. Is there any truth in this?

Not isolated to the RAM lineup, Jeep Wranglers have the same problem. If you welded in C gussets without wrapping the knuckles and BJs, you melted them.

Ok AZTW I need some advice.

I currently live with 2 friends and one friends girlfriend. Everything is great with the 3 of us, we game and ride motorcycles and generally fuck around having a good time. However the girlfriend is a :censored:.

We finally hit the breaking point today with a year and a half left on the lease (3 Br 2 bath house in snobbsdale) my dog was barking a lot, she is a 10 month old puppy we (my girlfriend who does not live here and I) are working on training just as fast as we can. The :censored: has an online foreign language class every Wednesday around 11. A few weeks ago I made the mistake of coming home for lunch during this class, while making lunch and sitting at my computer she apparently got yelled at by her teacher for the noise I was making. The noise was the microwave, me putting a box in the recycling, apologizing for the noise and sitting at my computer with headphones on!

So today she comes out, I say we're trying to get Stacy to quiet down but there isn't a whole hell of a lot I can do. She said we might have to put her outside (which is fine!) and then proceed to go on about all the noise that had happened previously during her class and that she didn't wanna get yelled at by her prof. again.

Cue epic meltdown of us arguing and her huffing off to bitch about me to her boyfriend (my good friend of 10+ years who I normally get along with great).

I took the dog on a walk while she did her class. When I came back they both left.

Previously she has gotten mad and claimed that she; spent $500 on groceries last month that myself and our other roommate ate all of; noise in the morning when she is trying to sleep in until 1p and she has not done one dish or chore since we moved in. Her boyfriend cleans up after her. My girlfriend who doesn't even live here has done more chores than her! (and me probably, she can't stand messes).
    1. She spent maybe $150 on groceries last month, most of which went bad in the fridge the rest was junk food that is in their freezer.
    2. She complains about noise however when I go to bed at 10 so I can get up at 6. She never turns down the TV or attempts to be quiet. She blasts movies, games, bangs pots when cooking and generally doesn't give a shit.

Thanks for letting me rant, now what do I do?!!?

Edit: She isn't even on the lease.

    Get your own place.

I love my roommate. Just me and my right hand. She puts out whenever I’m in the mood or the lady isn’t over. She never bitches at me, feeds me beers etc.

Granted it is more expensive to live alone, but way worth it at this stage.

Oh. And I’d talk to them, say it’s not working. Set a date a couple months out and find a replacement. If they don’t want a random person living there then that’s on them.

Is your name on the lease?

Does she pay rent as a tennent? Or is it the I live in my boyfriends room who does?

If she doesn't, I'd toss it out as she needs to pay equal share, or move out. If her level of engagement is that high in the house then her pay to contribute should as well.

Now if she does pay equal rent, start learning how to say "bitch, shut your mouth" in multiple languages, and make it threw the rest of the lease.

with kindness.. Life isn't easy and if moving out asap isn't an option.. deal with it. unfortunately your friend loves this evil female.. and if your friend is your friend.. you have to either deal with it or find a way out.

There is your answer. Go out with your roommates that are on the lease and have out all the issues. You guys work out some ground rules and responsibilities for living together (quiet times, dog, etc, etc). Seeing she isn't on the lease, she has no say in these things. Men can solve all the problems of the world over a few drinks.

If your buddy is hell bent on her staying and taking her side, ask him to release you from the lease. Get that in writing, etc. If not, and in 3 months nothing has improved, you get back together and tell your buddy she has to go. If he is thinking long term with her, than you aren't going to get in the way and he should let you leave, if he isn't, then maybe this is his excuse to kick her to the curb.

If she has been living there, you do have to give her 30 days to move out. If she is that big of a :censored: she will know these things, or presume to, and use it against everyone.

 Can't afford to pay this rent and live on my own. I'm tempted to see if I can move back in with my parents. There isn't a good way for me to get out of this lease.

That's what I am thinking but if they don't find anybody or can't get anybody approved by the rental company I'm stuck paying rent even if I don't live here.

No she pays an equal share but no chance of getting her to clean anything shes "too busy with work and school"

My roommate, her bf would probably shoot me if I did that lol I told her to F$!k off earlier though, felt great!

Living alone is awesome. But expensive. Worth considering a move in with your woman?

Girls be cray. I hated all but one female roommate. Always selfish and unreasonable to deal with.

My girlfriend is awesome and we are moving in together as soon as she finishes school/my lease is up. Maybe I'll suck it up here for a while longer and as soon as she's done we can find a place and I'll blow this Popsicle stand

We had some ground rules, like everybody does their dishes, be quiet late at night. Lasted like a week before there was a pile of dishes (It's shitty for the planet but I use paper plates and don't make any dishes!)

Worth a try but I don't think they'll take on my share of rent and let me go. Too expensive and the way renters laws are here I'm stuck.

They do fight a lot, maybe if I just wait that'll sort itself out. I am not going to intentionally push any buttons though.

honestly I’d just tell her that she needs to go somewhere else if it’s too noisy for her. Your on the lease, she’s not.

That’s great that she’s paying some shit but that doesn’t make her intitled to setting rules.

That's not the issue, my girlfriend takes her on days when she isn't working or in class and my parents babysit her on the other days. She sleeps most of the day and is generally quiet according to them. We have kenneled her for a couple hours at a time when we had to but recorded it and she was restless but was just fine. She was loud this morning because I was home and she was amped, wanting to play. Which we did but I can't play all morning, I have to get some stuff done.

Ultimately she isn't the issue, today the playing and barking sparked it but the problem I have is directly between me and her. Tried talking and I generally don't say a thing about the dishes or noise or anything because I really just don't wanna deal with her.
