I don’t think I would take it back with any frame damage unless it wasin writing they would cover any future damage

Well insurance already said they are not totaling it and they can just give it back as is, I have a loan out on the vehicle so that wouldn't make sense. I need a truck so I am having them go for it.

What kind of guarante does the body shop have? And it doesn't take much to get these repairs up to 10 plus k. I got in a wreck after having the truck for about 3 months, was like 8k or so in damage. Got it back what was later determine to be a wheel bearing didn't sound right, took it back the next day, they got me another rental and fixed the issue. My truck also was on the frame machine, it seems to be fine but again I got lifetime warranty on their work, so in my mind it's worth keeping the truck, as they will fix the issues that may arise from that wreck.

That sucks to hear. May be best to trade that bad boy in after it is "repaired".

They have a lifetime warranty on all repairs made in their shop. They have done work on other family members cars and have always 100% stood behind their work.

To me that's the most important part. I think it's a bad financial decision to trade it in when you have that kind of warranty.

Yeah def going to drive it as long as possible until I start having problems and then maybe think of trading it in. I love that damn truck and am actually very happy to get her back.

Why not have them do it or have them order a paint-able one?

Dude I would drive that truck from the repair shop to the dealer and trade it in. Seriously, I would :burnrubber:
