there is some forum or group that is East Coast Hummer Group, that meet in Purcellville, VA. One guy has a warehouse on his property. They do all the maintenance there.

Since Humvee/H1 is my dream truck, it would be awesome to just watch them. Or just sit in one again. Whenever I see them on the road, its a good day lol

Drove one for a weekend back when I was in the National Guard. Had a full bird in the back, and he was not pleased with pussy driving. I was driving him from site to site while a unit was doing field maneuvers in the woods north of Bangor. My favorite weekend in the service.

Fullbird as in colonel. Their rank insignia. There’s “light colonel” = lieutenant colonel and full bird because of the eagle insignia

Going to ask $700 obo. Found some kings for $200, sent them for rebuild, they’re busted so bought new kings for a good deal since the company doing the rebuild for me felt bad about it

I don’t remember exactly. But I do know that the insignia is the same for all branches just the title is different. For instance in the navy the equivalent rank is a captain

Fun fact: during normal wear, the heads are facing inward. During a time of war, they're switched as if the eagle is watching your back. Same with E4-E6 in the navy. Here's our insignia.
    image.jpg

Edit: at least it's this way in the navy. Not sure if other branches follow suit
