Finally got around to installing the @G Tek Fab door sill protectors.
Which cover up a nice scratch from a shop vac nozzle...

I did some minor fabrication with some kydex. I'll be making a how-to soon if any are interested. I didn't want to stick to the carpet, so I removed the back storage and put the kydex on the lip. Hope it makes sense.

Also, I'll get some better pictures later. My phone camera has been less than desirable lately.

I painted the channel where the slots are, flat black. My intention was to make the slots fade into the background. It worked very well.

The adhesive isn't good. Used some 3M that I had from derping the emblems.

That's a damn good idea. Ive been thinking of putting the lights under the front seat facing backwards but that blocks most of the light.

Anyway, traded in the "08" SR5 for a 2017 SR5 about 2 weeks ago and wanted to share. So far...

    1. AVS Bug Shield
    2. AVS Rain Guards
    3. Wade (Westin) SureFit all weather mats

    https://www.amazon.com/Westin-Autom...555232&sr=8-4&keywords=westin+sure+fit+tacoma

    4. Chrome TACOMA letters on tailgate
    5. Toyota Mud Flaps (Think I am going to add 4X4 decals)

    Future add-ons...
    1. Undercover SE (Black) should be here no later than Tuesday (Pics to follow)
    2. A good radio. No happy with this radio at all. My phone plays louder music. So far I can't seem to find what I want.
    3. Running boards/Steps...so many to choose from.
    4. Probably a grill mod. Again, so many to choose from.

Thanks for this thread, really awesome.

If you have the entune premium radio then keep it. Just do the speaker swap. You will be surprised at the power your radio has.
