funny thing today at parent teacher conference. Izzy had to draw out a story about his summer. He told the story of his dad killing a rattlesnake while camping (made me proud). Also proceeded to tell his teacher that his mom is from north china (wtf??? shes half laos) Teacher then asked where his dad was born and he says "Mexico"! Of course I let out a "no way, I was born in M'urica"! He then says" hell yea, me too dad"

Why is everyone calling flip flops sandals? Pretty sure sandals have heel/ ankle straps...

I was strongly advised at Tepuifest to put on shoes. We were throwing hammers or something...

I did change my leaf packs (3 times) in flip flops and did most of the kitchen remodel, at the last house, in flip flops. Had special set of construction flip flops. Didn't want to get paint on my less- shitty pair.

 

Anything is better than calling them thongs.

Turns out that was the current lingo for sandals. I called her a prude and told her we don’t fuck enough.

 

I just call em sandals, cuz generic terminology. Technically they're Flip Flips.

It's like people calling Running shoes 'tennis shoes' or 'sneakers' when most people call them 'shoes'
