Make sure you guys park your trucks and don't turn the heat on at all this year.

Wouldn't want to be promoting the use of any of that evil dead dinosaur slime.

Better to ask what I have not done.

It's definitely everyone on meth that's causing Oklahoma to be such a seismic hot spot. There's well funded studies that prove it.

The sad thing is that no matter what is done at this point, the human race will likely kill itself off before we completely fuck up the planet so it's hard to get people to change.

    Here's a Goonies rock for y'all.

I'll try and get a picture of the house before I bounce.

May break out the paddle board on the Lewis and Clark river tomorrow. I don't feel overly excited that great whites could potentially find me there. :annoyed:

Colorado ownership falls under split estate. You own the surface land but someone else probably owns the mineral rights to the same location under you. And their rights are superior to yours. But they have to respect your surface use when accessing their minerals rights, meaning there are limits to how close they can locate to buildings, must do noise abatement, etc.

The state supreme court in 2016 struck down city and county-wide fracking bans, though, because state law pre-empts it. There were a couple of ballot initiatives that failed to gain enough signatures right after and so it's been in limbo since.
I get what you're saying, but every well is in someone's backyard (or wildlife area, national park, forest service land, etc.). Most people don't care just as long as it's not their backyard. I'm not different, none of us are. But we are all part of the problem with our trucks and furnaces and so it's not simple to solve.

I wish I could man. It was literally so dark that night that even if I crank up the exposure setting on the raw file there was no data captured in the lower part of the image around the truck. All it does it turn a purplish color down there instead of black :( I still have much to learn about night time photography.

EDIT: When it comes to static I have two options. 1.) Turn up noise reduction on the raw file. This actually makes a lot of the dimmer stars completely disappear and even at that point there is still a lot of noise. 2.) Buy a new camera with better low light performance. Those are expensive and would take away from the truck funds. Guess I will have to just keep practicing and work with what I have

Help! Anyone know a good mechanic in the Longmont/Erie area? I think my starter is going out (not sure though) but all my tools are in storage...and the dealer wants me to WAIT for an appointment next week (pffft) AND pay them $120 to run a diagnostic on the Truck... suggestions?

take it to a Auto Zone or O'Reilly's, they can at least test your battery first and see if that's the problem, at no charge.

It’s not symptomatic of a battery issue, no clicking, all accessories work and nothing dims when trying to start, very VERY intermittent, battery 6 mo old and no corrosion present

    But ya, that’s a start.

might be worth it to clean the contacts but "intermittent" is always a Pain in the azz to diagnose properly.

welp, could be the starter then. If it's original that would make it fairly old, depending on mileage.
Prolly just the contacts need cleaned.
