    I bought my 17 OR with a MSRP of $40,000 and paid $35,300 before tax. Our tax rate is 10% so the tax severely scews the deal but all relative to your area. I believe near $5000 Off is a good deal. I was in the car business at one point and our gross profit for new including hold back and trunk money was typically $2-3000 and that’s selling at MSRP. Toyota is volume based so a single sale at the end of the month could equate to an added incentive for the dealer that is paid for all units sold prior to that one. That’s why the can offer the best deals at the end of the month, they may lose a couple thousand on a single sale but that sale could easily be worth $20,000 or more in additional incentive.

    Just bought a 2017 Black Tacoma TRD with tech package last week. Added;

    - TRD Wheels
    - TRD Exhaust
    - Tub Mats
    - TRD Intake
    - Step Ups
    - Remote starter
    - Protection Package

    With 5% tax and all the documentation fees walked out at $49,000 CAD. So about $38,300 USD.

    Essentially I’m only paying $390 more than base MSRP which is $35,160. But I just feel I can squeeze a little more, then I’ll be happy!

    Must have tons of dealer installed add ons if MSRP is $35k. I didn’t have any dealer installed items on mine, all factory installed with MSRP on sticker of $40,000. I bought my pro grill and wheels for 25% off list as part of the deal.

    Oh I see what you mean base MSRP now. Mine is almost the same but I have the tonneau and no side steps. You are getting near $5000 off which I believe is a good deal. Tax and fees are hard as they are hard/fixed costs other then a doc fee we can negotiate in my state. They will hope to sell you the moon in the finance office, paint protection and warranty and all that Jazz!

    Sticker from my truck. They gave me a full tank of gas, not the measly 6 gallons and in the Northwest we get 2 years of schedule maintained free from Toyota.

    We also get ToyotaCare for free, TOYOGUARD Platinum kicks in after the 2 years of ToyotaCare is over. In total, it’s 5 years of covered maintenance and some other stuff.

    First Post. Wife and I just bought our first Toyota. 2017 Access Cab 4wd VR Auto. Sonar/Nav/Tow package. Weather guard mats, Mudguards, and Oval Tube Steps. MSRP $35,576.00. Costco Program price $31,576.00. So 4k off the top and recvd 18K for our trade so that saved $1700 in taxes in Colorado as well. So I was out the door for $15,000 ish OTD after TTR. In Colorado there is hardly any advertised deals on Tacos over $2000 off. So when they knocked $4k off the price immediately, I said don't Fudge around on the trade and we will drive it home. Plus credit was good for Toyota 1.9% for 60. So other than the 3 hours of time feel we did good.

    Surprised big time on Costco program. Usually they don't save you any more than a common man can haggle. This time they made Toyota drop 10% off the msrp of a nice truck.

    you should be satisfied, very best you could've gotten would have been 29,500 most likely but that would have been tough even.

    I paid $39 for a '17, OffRoad with JBL and Tow, just mats, no other accessories. Vacaville in CA, had the best price of about 10 different dealerships I was negotiating.
