    I have both sitting at my shop but my work shipped me 350 miles away from my tacoma for the week.

    I would also look at https://www.mcmaster.com/#94750A584 since that looks close to your dimension you gave. Also maybe consider a drop in nut so you don't have to slide them out.

    Or why not just buy both and report back. $5 for a 10 pack of the strut nuts and only a few buck a piece for the machining tee nut.

    I used very similar 9/16" T-slot nuts on my 2008, so if they didn't change the track from the 2nd gen then I second these. They work well.

    Geese, I just went to Home Depot and found a normal nut to fit my bolt and ground those 10 cent nuts down with a grinder..!!

    Damn, I guess I'm either real "cheap" or maybe a little "innovative"... depends how much $ you got maybe..??

    Try looking at superstrut nuts from Home Depot or simular... I have used them hanging tvs and other equipment. Solar is also installed using this type of nut.
