Kydex is gun holster or knife sheath material. Moldable plastic sheet with some texture on one side. Comes in 12x12 or 12x24 sheets most of the time at multiple thicknesses. Easy to work with a razor knife and heat gun.

So over the weekend I finally got around to making some new mud flaps so they will be longer to get less spray on the truck especially come winter! Took my Rokblokz and used them as a template to make my new ones out of 12" x 24" rubber sheets from the company next to where I work! $89 for 4 sheets!

Looks great. Be careful when backing, the length is good moving forward but you may risk pulling them off when backing. Looks like you have 7 or 8 inches of clearence so they could be pinched then pulled on curbs, logs, or rocks.

Yes they fit 3rd gens. Amazing build quality and superior fitment. A must for people with caps or rtt. They work great and I wish Morgan would post more of his products in the 3rd gen forums. If you pick up the front rail from the second gen I think all of his Tacoma products would fit. And you can never go wrong with dual bottle openers.

Would love to see pictures of the inside of your truck bed with the cover folded back. Specifically interested in how and what accessories you have mounted there ie., jack, tools, ect. Looking for ideas. From what I could see your setup is very clean & nicely done.
