Even just the line you guys picked is way further over to the driver side. And there was no way in hell id have made that when i was there. Only chance i had was hanging passenger. And wasn't worth the risk.

Brett just tow it to Alcan there in GJ and get some super duper springs made and installed. Problem solved. :D

So next time we go back, I'll unstack all the rocks, and then go up and down.

I considered it. Truck is parked a mile away from Alcan, would have called them up if it wasn't a Sunday. Still have all my stuff in the truck I need to get back and don't want to dive into new springs right away.

Next set will most likely be custom Alcans or Deavers though. Can't get anything off the shelf that suites my needs.

Oh, and tossed together one picture.

    Lol yes. Duh.

No. But it does prove my point on how much a trail like that can change in a period of months.

    Stuff. Also things.
Jake wheeled that truck far better than I wheeled my ‘built’ truck.

A good driver with experience matters a helluva lot more than the vehicle itself for the most part.

I've always gone with the saying 10% truck and 90% driver. the more you wheel your rig the better you know it!
after meeting all you guys I can't wait to wheel with you guys again. and thanks for the complement

My TG crawler with 4.7's has been perfect, no leaks and delivered with everything in 3 days. $600 for the adapters and another $500 for the 4.7's. Find a top shift box in the junk yard for cheap and done. Easily the best mod I've ever put on the truck. It's literally night and day difference how much more control you have.

I am curious about the condition of the leaf springs on the other side now too... If you need to get a ride there I may be available during the week.

Jake was straight beast mode. Kudos to you man.

Brett was that stitch the one you did at the top of cliffhanger?

Truck is back. It'll be getting unloaded, cleaned, and then parked all winter.

Most likely getting custom springs, cycle them, and hopefully not end up having to change the shock mounts next spring.

Genuinely appreciate the offer Andy! That would have been one hell of a haul for you.

I'll take a further look and maybe some more pictures tonight, but I believe the other side is fine.

X2. Jake was doing awesome behind the wheel. You're welcome to join us anytime.

That pano was from one of the roads we checked out off the Anticline road. I'll stitch the one together from the end of Cliffhanger soon. Should come out awesome.

Very nice build. I never could decide on what armor to go with on my 2004. I struggled with trying to find that balance between keep weight down and still keeping the body protected.

Probably the hardest trail I've ever done. I said that when I did it a couple years ago, and I didn't even run the whole trail that time, and will still say that now. There's several more difficult obstacles past the namesake cliffhanger obstacle.

The hard obstacles are one after the next with no bypasses, each one takes careful spotting and some work to figure out the lines and get everyone through. And yes, I did have to ride my clutch. :luvya:
