Why no Dark Green Tacomas?

I don't get why most people seem to like boring black/white colors.

 

I'm in the 4% bracket!! A pox on the 96%ers!!

 

Folks love black because it by far the best looking color on any vehicle. Folks like white typically because it is extremely easy to maintain.

 

Best color period.

 

No black is lame. And so is white. I've never had either and have not had any maintenance issues due to color.

 

Whatever you say my dude. Sorry your color doesn't sell. No need to get aggressive towards ones that do.

 

I'm not being aggressive. Just pointing out facts about supposed maintenance issues that colors other than white/black have lol.

 

I'm referring to you pointing out that black and white are lame, which are not not facts. They're opinion. An uncommon one at that.

Fleet vehicles are almost always white, both for visibility safety wise, and visibility in marketing due to contrast for graphics. The commercial market heavily screws the white data. It isn’t as popular, just more practical for a large market segment.

Also, this data may be based on pigment sales since it comes from PPG. White and black are used in most color formulas. Purely speculating of course.

Well yeah commercial stuff white is super popular for good reason. So yes that is skewed.

 

Maybe take your own advice. Again, my post was referring to your comment on black and white being lame.

I use to drive this type of truck on the flightline when I was in the Air Force and security had the blazer. This is what i want...its like quicksand just green.

IMO, this is the only way the Tacoma is seeing green again any time soon. It has to be a military green (maybe for the Pro's).

 

I had a 98 single cab in that dark green, loved that truck

I b****ed out and bought a white 2nd gen. I do love the fact white doesn't show scratches real bad, and looks sexy blacked out

Ram is offering 3 or 4 different greens for their hd trucks (probably won't see them on any lots but can be ordered). If I'm ordering though I'd get that New Holland blue harvester edition

I meant after Cavalry Blue. I was counting the Blue to be this year.

Pretty good range of colors, in general. Loving that Marauder.

 

I honestly don't like green too much, but ^^^ looks awesome! Nice truck @PvilleJohn (if it's yours).
