I don't know shit but seems like I might need shorter tie rod extensions to fix my toe. Bottomed out on inner threadsIMG_2146.jpg

Been there. I had to get shorter extensions (or machine down the length of the barrel part) because I was running running out of threads on the inner tie rods. What is bottoming out?

    camburg kit

From the quick look I got before headed home, the inner tie rod ran out of threads so the extension is jammed up against the jam nut and end of inner tie threads.(hope I make sense).IMG_2148.jpg

Check this out - I'll give you more info when I get home. 1/2" was all it took to make enough room for adjustment. I had a +2 kit and got the half inch removed from the barrel. That may or may not be your problem. I'll send you some drawings that helped me diagnose the problem when I get home.

@glorifiedwelder has dealt with this on a few occasions.

Although it may seem that way. Camburg took for fucking ever to get me my kit and get it right. I literally have had everything to fully build the truck, shocks and all many weeks before. Except the ass glass I got in the group buy.

Single piece skid plate covers the diff and engine? Might consider doing something similar for mine. Haven't done the lower half of my bumper.

1/4" aluminum, 4-bolts to the front, floor jack under to start bending into place with 4 more bolts underneath. The upper plate is 3/16" and is cosmetic holding the license plate.

I used a sheet of hdpe from grainger ($40 sheet) . It's the same material as cutting boards. Easy to shape with a torch/heat gun and is pretty durable (says it won't shatter). It's got a few good scratches in it but nothing too deep.

I guess I drive my truck a little harder. I went thru four 3/16" skid plates before going 1/4". It will need to be replaced at the end of next season.

hell no, steel. 5-0's steel skid plate on his FJ weighted a frickin ton.

Yes there heavy but coast over weight.
I guess if your racing that would matter.
Definitely takes a floor jack to put the steel on.
