I used nearly 30 of these to fill all t-slots (front, top, bottom of bars) I wasn’t using and it nearly eradicated wind noise.

So if you are wondering what happens quicker..... a frame replacement or a prinsu rack...... looks like the winner is going to be the frame replacement

Ordered on Sept 5 (all black CABRAC, deflector with cutout, 1x1 bar for shark fin, edge trim) with an estimated shipping date of 10/16.

CBI responded to my email on 10/16 with an update of 2-3 weeks delay due to supplier issues. CBI responded within 30 minutes to my email for an update on status.

Got the shipping notice yesterday 10/25. No issues at all with the service so far.

Hopefully everything comes out of the box ok!

Ordered mine on August 28 and received it last night. It’s built just need to work on the weather strips and then install. Any tips to get it done faster.

    Take your time.
    Use the punch.
Poke through the tape, don't remove it all.
Seal the bolts in the roof.

I'm doing mine this weekend and going to use a 3/4 inch hole saw. The reason why is because it's a pilot drill and a lot more accurate then a punch

I'd be curious to see how that works.

Anyone else use a hole saw over a punch and did it come out cleaner?

I'd just buy more than you think you'd need. I bought 10, then needed more, and ordered another 10, and eventually ended up using about 27 of them b/c the more I added the more it reduced the wind noise. Only thing I don't have covered with them now is the rear t-slots and a couple I have some mounting hardware on. I love the modular design and ability to be flexible down the road but definitely didn't need all those t-slots exposed.

I drilled no holes, used threaded rubber feet. Does this method compromise the structurally integrity significantly?

I used a hole saw, but would definitely use a hole punch if I were to do it again!

    Careful...
There are quite a few posts on this thread already of folks using hole saws only for it to snag the rubber and tear up the stripping. Use a punch if you can.

Also, say you were off by 1/4" on your hole. It is much easier to make the hole oblong to fit with a hole punch than with a hole saw or knife.

Dremel helps with cutting the holes in the weather stripping. Tape off where you need to make the cuts before removing. Will make it easier.
