Be careful backing up over anything with those that long.

2017 SR5 DCSB 4x4. I did a rough country lift to squeeze those 285’s in. K&N intake with TRD exhaust. I have noticed that with the intake and exhaust combination that I have gotten the low end power back that I lost with the bigger tires. It shifts better too.

Nice! How do you like the rough country lift? How does it do off road?

I have not gone out yet to be honest. It’s a spacer lift so I have lost droop in my travel.

Anyone here in the Northeast run Blizzaks? My son and some friends of mine in Northwest Co. swear by them. To the letter they all say to make sure you remove them once winters gone or you'll wear them out fast. Curious if anyone runs them in New England and what they think of them as well as where to get the best deal. They're pricey but are they worth it?

Was looking into Blizzaks but they hardly make them in any truck sizes......

My kid runs them on his SR5. Not sure of the size, I'll have to check.

    4 Cooper M+S 265 75 16's are $548 shipped to my door

4 Bridgestone Blizzak W965s are $784 shipped to my door

Comparing the treads it looks the cooper would outperform that Blizzak, almost looks like the Blizzak would pack snow...

I'm told it's the composition of the rubber that makes them so sticky in snow. Supposedly much softer. I guess that's why everyone recommends swapping them out once the threat of snow is gone.

Installed the SOS OffRoad Concepts rear bumper with swingout last night. Still have to install the flip up license plate bracket and tag lights.

Definitely! Went and got it patched, so at least it’s over. Something to be said for cigarette lighter air pumps!
