Awesome list! I would recommend the Harvard Art Museum if you're into that sort of thing. They house one of the most extensive art collections in the world. They only display under 2% of their collection. We got to go through their storage spaces and it was impressive (and I'm as far from an art admirer as you can get).

Usually hunting clothes don't smell... Ever notice most of the hunting apparel is scent lock or scent blocking?

 

I think its like $50 for in town use

 

I mean I was talking about finding a hot tub, but I'm always down for an adventure!

Apparently there is some sort of internet consumption report that is generated and sent to our managers, but I've never had anyone comment. I usually just hop in here for a minute or two while my code is building or I'm waiting on something.

But they can get fairly strict on blocking sites. You can't even go to Foxwood's website to get info on parking or anything.

 

But in all seriousness, during deer and turkey season we do day trips, so we have access to showers.

Or wool, which does the same thing to an extent.
What usually is pretty rank is the moisture-wicking base layers that everybody wears now. The synthetic versions of those smell HORRIBLE after a day or 3 in the woods. The wool ones are much better for a multiple day trip. Something about wool really limits the stank factor.

I've always been more of a Sauna guy, myself. Especially during the winter, when there's snow on the ground. Get a good sweat going and then go roll around in the snow.

 

My cold weather hunting clothes have always been wool.
Stays warm even when wet. It's quiet when still hunting.

 

Same. I'm old school like that. Wool and leather for my hunting gear. Felt soles in my boots. My buddy has synthetic base layers that we wear when we're winter camping/hunting and by day two they smell terrible. My wool clothes are still fresh on day 4 (unlike me, lol)

 

Base layer...I've been using the 2 layer Duofolds for years.
And a Johnson wool vest,lol.

I don't usually bother with the base layer (legs and shirt) unless it's really cold out. Typically I'll throw my LL Bean river driver's shirt on under a wool sweater vest, then my orange on over that. By the end of the deer season I'll swap the vest for a full sweater.

 

I do enjoy a good sauna! But for most of my life, walking outside felt the same as going to a sauna, so what's the point? Now though, I can totally get behind the idea!

 

Hot tubs are too hot. Only time they're good is in the winter. My FIL has a giant one up at his Maine house. They'll be in there when it's like 95 degrees out. My daughter loves it too. Too damn hot for me most of the year. Just not enjoyable.

 

So what you're saying is that you're originally from Hell.
