4runner tpms?

    Will the tpms sensors off a '16 4runner work with our trucks? I know the part number is different but saw 2nd gens were using 4runner/FJ tpms sensors with no problem. The tire shop I went to couldn't get the 4runner TMPS to register with my truck though. Just incompetent employees or 3rd gens can't use other TPMS?

    I got a set of 16 4Runner trail wheels and tried to use the TPMS from them...the machine would not recognize it for my 17 truck...the TPMS from my steelies would not work either because of the angle (even if I flip them)...I had to get some aftermarket sensors...
