Nice, no actually outstanding! I need to redo my deck soon and grill outside all year and wondering how to handle covering it or at least part of it with a roof pitch perpendicular to the house. Too late now but next year should set the wheels in motion and like this a lot.

So S.W. Onterio I assume it is more South than West if that was London? As in you're not directly South of the Sunset Country, ON.

2 nights ago cooked some steaks for some people here including a new friend from Port Hope, ON. They were all prime cuts of beef well marbled and I wrapped them in bacon.

    Prime steaks.jpg

I bring my own 18" Weber jumbo joe camping and they had a 18" kettle here and it took both to do the bacon wrapped steaks plus some prime top sirloin steaks in addition to the ribeyes and capsteak.

    prime sirlon.jpg

He was amazed at the marbling and flavor of the steaks. Said in part because of the health care in Canada it is almost impossible to get well marbled steaks most are the equivalent of US Choice. And sent me an email today saying he made it back home safely today and really enjoyed the steaks and dinner I threw together.

If that is true and you make it South sometime be glad to grill you a prime cut of beef. And pick your brain about my deck and cover for the deck in the winter. I assume you ain't no damn vegetarian if you're a deer hunter :D

Good evening to you also Susan and hope all is well with you!

You should hear Lake Superior crashing against the shoreline right now. I can from inside the cabin. Not quite November but this is the weather that sunk the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. Lake Superior ie: Gitche Gumee is pissed about November. I need to try and get some pictures of it. But not getting too close to the shore right now. I did get a picture of Cross River at the Falls today

I like! I am a beliver in the right tool for the job and don't have a BGE. I do like my Webers and smoke and grill on both charcoal and gas. Shoveling snow gets old but I do try to use the best tool for the job.

John you are invited any time. Due to work this is likely the last of my hunting time this year. Too short and makes me sad. But I can not tell you enough how much I appreciated your help this summer in trying to bring Jax into my pack. Well 2 dogs are not a pack, 3 are. Need to make some phone calls tomorrow about shipping him to Houston International airport. You're right I have become attached to him emotionally and hate like hell to do it.

But it is best. Of all the experts out there you gave me the best advice of anyone. Period. And you understand the handler\dog Alpha better than anyone anywhere that I have visited or talked to in person. I hate to send him back but it is best. Can't believe she is going to send me a puppy free of charge for my "trouble". Isn't trouble it is an obligation. On my part. She is sending me the pick of 2 liters that dropped a couple of weeks apart. I will name the pup Jack in honor of my Ex FIL who 30 years introduced me to the Toller. He was the Region 1 NSDTRC (USA) Area Coordinator for Toller rescue from Maine to West Va. at the time. I think it is perfect. He passed away about 6 years ago shooting sporting clays of a massive heart attack. I still miss him.

Apprecitate the patch you sent me too :) it will go on my hunting vest by next season. I don't have to put up with any political BS with that. Get the hell out of my way if you don't like it ;-)

It was nothing bud I just wish it had worked or you could have brought him out here I am sure it could have been fixed up with two people working on him and not letting his little punk ass start trouble.
