So im camped out on the roof of the plant, laying on a flat metal cart with foam padding on top to resemble a bed and pillow. All under the stars ready for my pre-bedtime nap...who said nite shift couldnt have some perks lol

 

God it's taking forever to get to 0400.......grrrrrrrrrrrrr im sleepy.

Working tonight again. Just got word we are out of here April 30th. Hope we hear something on the next job quick. Going to really cut down on my truck mods.

Kinda, just fighting a head cold and have 4 days off starting tomorrow. Wish the cold would have came later.UGH!!! Might half to Red Bull it to stay awake. Going up to the coast and ride on the dunes with my parents for the long wknd. Do a little camping.
Glad your still working. But I would hate the waiting game of when you might not be.

Sucks about the head cold! Sorry to hear that. Careful with the red bull. I just about killed myself with energy drinks one morning leaving after work and making a 4 hour drive on 3 hours sleep. 2 full throttles & a 5 hour energy shot = bad idea! Just was afraid of falling asleep and not thinking long term. Screwed up my stomach for days.

Have a good time camping. If it wasn't a big weekend in my hometown, I would be thinking about doing the same (it's festival time though.) Last weekend was so much fun!

About work, I'm glad they're giving us that extra week. An extra $1200 (give or take) can go a long way when you need it to. Fingers crossed that my current boss heads up the next local job. It'll be just outside New Orleans, far enough away from the crime, close enough to the fun and about 40 mins from my hometown. The other good option is if he gets the job outside Houston. That's an 18 month deal and should keep me busy long enough to save up some good money and possibly get hired on at Exxon.
