I suggest telling people to pressure washing the truck a few days before going in for the fluid film. Definitely not the day before - with the cooler temps the water takes longer to dry.

I enjoyed it. Don't think anybody else went. Ended up wheeling and doing stuff I never thought I'd do lol. Ended up meeting and going with some new England overland guys. There was a brand new diesel Colorado ZR2 behind me.

I only did one green trail, and I hoped in another guys truck for a blue trail. It was pretty good. Climbs and descents, ledges, some rocks, I ended up 3 wheeling it and guy behind wish he took a pic. Trails were basically open and go when you wanted. Not too many people either so there was plenty of time to ride. I left at a little after 12 but was there before the gate opened and was third in line. There are definitely more difficult trails that I would never make it up and out of.

It's got a gate, only open to clubs and events as far as I know

Not really. It's owned by an association of off-road clubs and you have to be a member of the association through one of those clubs to get access to the gate.

The association is Northeast Association Of 4WD Clubs, they have a full listing of member clubs on their website:
    http://nea4wd.org/

Northeast Toyota Crawlers is a member club that several guys on here belong to:
