Do you know if it comes with the 4 sides or all 6 sides? If the Floor is not included, are you able to add it as an extra? Lastly, are there two different sizes that you can order depending on the T4R verses the Taco or all just one size?

Is it 270 per room? Or for all 6?

It completely encloses the awning making it a large tent basically without a floor. They said a floor wasn't available from them. We are ordering one size for both 4runners and tacos. I think they have one that's a half meter shorter but you lose a lot of shade coverage.
    Some fresh pics...

It's $270 for the fox wing awning and $270 for the annex. The annex basically turns the awning into a giant tent with mosquito nets.

Looks amazing! I can see the 6 complete sides in these pics. Having it completely enclosed will be nice to have. I’d rather have the biggest one they offer no matter what :) Please put me down for both! Have you done any research on the possibility of adding a RoofTop tent from this same company?

Can you get pictures and reviews from actual TW users that bought them from your last group buy?

I haven't researched their RTT. I'll put you down for these two. I am going to be getting a hard shell RTT sample for review, just trying to finish up this first group buy order fulfillment.

They don't do the floor, unfortunately. Personally, I would probably use a thin outdoor rug as the flooring for this. That way you can have some sort of cushion instead of thin material that could tear. Just my idea anyway.

Yeah, they're on the T4R forum unfortunately. Not sure if anyone from TW has received theirs yet. If they have, perhaps they'll chime in. The two or three from T4R that got them are pleased with the quality and build of the awning. They haven't actually used them yet, just mounted and opened, basically. When I opened one I was impressed with the fabric, construction and overall build of the awning. There are some loose threads hanging around that just need to be plucked (not functional threads) and some metal shavings from manufacturing. This is typical when buying in bulk from China. I could pay then an additional $30 or so a piece and have them go through and clean it up but it's not a big deal at all. The pictures of the black 4runner was a member that picked it up and actually did provide his thoughts on the awning. Basically my same review. The cement 4runner is also a member from T4R and he's extremely pleased with the product. One "complaint" was the cover for the awning is a bit loose when closed. Not sure if this is an issue with all of them as I've only heard it from 1 of 3 or 4 people that received it so far. Again, I'm looking forward to hearing more reviews as well, good and bad.

Yes, this is round 2 for the awning and round 1 for the annex.

Most of the details from the original post seem like the usual Chinese company stock photos. I’m interested but would feel a lot more comfortable if you were able to provide links to actual user experiences rather than just product specifications from the manufacturer.

EDIT: Not trying to be a dick about it, just would want more details from personal experience before commiting.

If you go to the first page of this thread the last two photos of the black 4 runner is the first member to pick his up. That's the actual awning. The cement 4 runner on this page is the next member to pick up. Please keep in mind that because of the pricing we took a shot in the dark with this company. I received the awnings a week ago and have been steadily shipping them to members that participated. I'm sure, as they receive their awnings we will begin to get their honest opinions on them. I understand your concern. With that said, the only reason I decided to do round 2 for the awnings was because the guys that received theirs are asking for the annex to complete their setups. Figured the people that missed out on the first one can take advantage of the fact that ill be ordering the annexes from the same company. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Check this link, post 239. First review. I don't think you're being a dick. I totally understand your concerns. We won't be ordering too soon so it should give everyone enough time to hear the reviews from people that got one.

Does anyone have pictures of this installed on a Taco with a camper shell? I’d like to see how it works with or interferes with the back glass of the shell opening

Hopefully someone with that specific setup chimes in to answer your question. If you have a rack on your shell, measure how far up the rear glass opens up past the roof of the shell. See if it is past the rack or bars on the shell and that'll give you some idea of how it'll work. Also, keep in mind that the spot you're concerned about when the rear glass opens is basically just the fabric of the awning. The bar in that area would be tucked closer to the cab so it shouldn't interfere with the glass. Check out the clearance in this pic.denis awning1.jpg

The glass sticks up pretty high. I almost think I’d have to open up the glass before opening the awning or just not let the glass open all the way with the awning deployed

I see. I know some of the TW members should be getting their awnings soon. Hopefully, we can get a concrete answer for your question.
Is there a mechanism on the glass door that you can lock it in at certain positions?
