I have a Springfield XD 40 and 9. The 40 is pure black and is only about a month old. It has less then 50 rounds through it. The 9 is a bi-tone (silver slide) with less then 80 rounds through it. I don't know if anyone might be interested in this forum.

Springfield XD 40- $500 OBO or $750 with Crimson trace grips

Comes with everything in the box

    Springfield XD 9- $500
Comes with everything in the box + 2 additional 10 rnd magazines, and extra magazine holster and 1 Blackhawk Serpa Holster.

PM me for more details. The guns are pretty much brand new. I would prefer local sale. Located in Arcadia, CA.

Also, if you really aren't interested in buying, please leave the thread alone. I just don't want the thread to get cluttered. Thank you. Bumps are always good though :)You can also go on the website and you will see how it looks like. Like I said, pretty much brand new.http://www.springfield-armory.com/ Also, if you check out my ebay user name, maxboostcore, you can see my feedback. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=maxboostcore&ftab=AllFeedback

How negotiable are you on the 9? I believe they retail for around $495 or something like that? Did you buy this new? What is the date of purchase? I'm in the market for a 9 so I'm not just asking questions just for the heck of it.

I bought it brand new on December 2008. I have put no more than 80 rounds through it; maybe even less then 50. There really isn't a lot of room for negotiation with the gun because they are pretty much brand new plus with all the extras and holsters. I paid just little bit over $650 w/ all taxes and registration just for the gun itself. I bought it at Old West Guns which is located in the City of Industry, CA. Then $40-$50 holster and also the 2 additional magazines. I would say it's fairly priced for a gun with less than 80 rounds. By getting it through me, you save money on taxes plus another $50 from when I purchased it. I'll call the gun store tomorrow and ask them what the new retail price is. From what I remember, I asked about 6-8 months ago and I believe they raised the retail about $30 more on top of what I paid for. I would say a majority of the online store retail will not ship to California because of the strict laws. Therefore, most guns have to be purchase through retail stores. Let me know what you think.

Have to agree that the price is a little steap. The prices have come down on these XD's with the new XDM's on the market. You can pick up the 40 and 9 for about $475 at most any gun shop. And that's brand new. A lot of people are iffy on used guns unless it's a good deal. I hope you sell them, but you may need to come down on the price. If you were selling them for $450 or so, you might get more bites. Not trying to cause you any trouble, just trying to help.

I understand that the Springfield XD M is out in the market, however, it is not legal in CA which does not bring the price of XD down. They will not ship or sell in CA unless you are in law enforcement. As far as pricing goes for brand I called a couple of random shops just to get an idea. I know the last time i bought a gun there was price variation from the website because of supply and demand. Here are some of the places I called. I made sure I called different areas in Southern CA. Keep in mind you still have to pay taxes while in CA and also with a gun having less than 80 rounds and cleaned and oil there shouldn't be anything I would worry about. I NEVER SHOT RELOADS. ONLY WINCHESTER ROUNDS. Please feel free to call stores. I've included their phone numbers.

Keep in mind you would still need to pay taxes on top of these prices which can range anywhere from 8.75%-9.75%.

I went ahead and check the website for the price that you stated and I couldn't find any. The 3" is probably the price that you saw but I could be wrong. Here are some print screens so you don't have to go looking for it. I just don't want people saying I'm lying to them. Keep in mind the high cap magazines are not legal in CA. Also another website would be gunbroker but 98% of the ads will not ship to CA.

I will wait a little longer before I drop the price since I'm in no hurry. Like I said, these guns are pretty much brand new. If you add the total shots for Springfield 40 and Springfield 9 it will be less than 130 rounds. A lot of people will argue that the guns are not even broken in yet. I think it's a good price in my opinion w/ extras on top the price but we'll see. Of course, your opinions are welcome as well. I would really prefer local sale so the person can see the gun and also I can show them how much the gun is going for inside the stores and how much they save.

OK, now add the $35 private party transfer. $25 DROS fee. Now your $500 gun is going to be at least $560. We are just trying to help. Good luck!

Okay your right but don't you still have to do that to a new gun? There's no difference. You still have to do that to a new gun no matter what. Do you think because your buying a new gun you don't have to pay those fees?

A used gun is a used gun is a used gun.
like on a car, 90,000 miles is still 90,000 miles, "highway miles" or not.

This is good but how many have them in stock? As you can see I called the Turners and they don't have it. I could be wrong or this could me a "get me down" ad, when they put lower priced guns to get you down there just to find out they don't have it. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone here but it seems like you think by buying the guns I priced above is the final price. It is not. You have to add taxes, DROs Fees, Registrations on top of the prices? I stated CLEARLY that buying it from me you save taxes and also about $50. Some guns you save even more for example. For your information, NRAFAN, all you have to pay for is $35 to transfer from one person to the other. Call 626-336-6222 (Old West Guns in City of Industry, CA).

I repeat there are are no DROs Fees for private party. There is a private transfer of $35. PLEASE CALL THE DEALER FOR YOURSELF NRAFAN instead of giving wrong information.

Like I've said before, in Californa the pricing of guns is limited. Being in Texas, I'm sure you have access to more guns then we do that's why the price of the XD is different down there because your state can have the XD M.

One question.... Have you sold it for the price you are asking? We are just trying to help you get a bite on this gun. It's a used gun. People are willing to pay a few bucks more to get something brand new. Keep it full price, I couldn't care less. I was wrong about the the DROS on a Private Party, I will give you that. Been a while since I have sold a gun. Do what ever you want. Sell it for however much you want. I don't care. You would be looking at $572 out the door on a brand new XD. $535 for yours. Hmmm.. which one do I want? Whatever. Good luck!

Please remember this is CA. I know in other states you have different laws. CA gun laws are in whole other league. We can't carry all the nice guns out there. It has to be state approved which I was hoping NRAFAN would tell you by having a username like that. If you check http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/safeguns_resp.asp it will clearly state which guns are permissible. If you do check, it will show you that the XD M is not legal in CA that is why the price of the XD is more than other states and that is why a lot of website will not ship guns to CA because of the high cap (over 10 rounds) magazines are not legal. PLEASE READ prior post. That's why I'm trying to sell this in CA because it's a great deal for Californians!

I posted my receipt from when I bought it. I paid a total of $657.77. That's without the prices of the additional items.
