I've put a deposit down on a shell as I need more weatherproof storage, so my BAMF rack is for sale. This rack as outfitted is 700+freight. FIRM 600
    • Fresh textured powdercoat (rack looks new)
    • RTT mounts
    • Side universal mounting plates (inside and outside)
    • Tie downs
    • Fist mounts
    • Fits short or long bed 3rd Gen
Visit this thread for detailed pics (not mine):

This rack allows tent to sit lower than a canopy or cab mounted tent. Easier to set-up and takedown tent. Also, great view out rear window.

I'm in Austin, TX. I'll be driving to Fayetteville, NC next week so delivery along that route could be arranged (going through Atlanta).

Here is a pic of the rack with my 23 Zero Bundaberg Tent (also for sale 1400), taken this past week.

How much are you asking for the tent? Also, do you have any pics of the tent set up? Thanks.

I can get more pics of tent set-up today. If you search the threads, you can find side by side comparisons with CVT and Tepui.

I was very impressed with construction quality of the 23 Zero. Tent has 10 nights logged. Price is 1400

I purchased from dealer here in TX on this thread:

@atxboug how do you like 23 Zero Tent? Would you recommend it for the New England Climates? Does it work well with the short bed?

Had a good thunderstorm this past weekend, the rainfly had no issues. The lightweight ripstop polycotton canvas is quick drying too. Mattress is 3" so a little more cushion than Tepui and CVT. Fit is good on a shortbed, basically bed length. As you can see, I have it set back a few inches, so that the poles for the window nearest the cab can clear. You can push the tent all the way to the cab if you want it flush and then use a bungy to somewhere to keep window open.

@atxboug would the rack work with a tonneau cover? Ideally, I like the idea of a low profile rack with a tent above with the ability to still use the tonneau cover for dry storage on trips.

This rack will not work for that application. KB Voodoo makes an OEM tonneau compatible rack. Also, my rack is specific for 3rd Gen. BAMF makes this rack for 2nd and 3rd Gen applications.

Nice products from KB Voodoo! If they (or anyone similar) builds an adjustable bed rack, low profile to top of cab height, let me know. Such a rack would be worth every penny!

@breed1225 This maybe the only option currently on the market that would allow you to have a tonneau with RTT not exceeding cab height:

@KB Voodoo thats a great design for sure, but I think @breed1225 is looking for a rack that would keep his RTT at or below cab height with access to a tonneau.

@atxboug @KB Voodoo access to the tonneau cover will be key. I really like the Voodoo mid rack and it looks like it should work with potential modification to the tonneau framing at the connection points:

    upload_2017-10-27_18-0-50.jpg

@KB Voodoo do you have any cut sheets of this rack assembly with a 2015 tacoma (2nd gen)? the bed frame work is quite different between 2nd and 3rd gen.

    Thanks!
