Anybody have mounting pics of a 40" Bajadesigns ONYX6 on their Prinsu? Trying to figure out if it should go on top of load bar or under. Thanks in advance.

finally got the rack and quite a few screws and washers were missing...what in the hell? that on top of the extra 2 weeks delay kind of got me annoyed while installing the rack. the install guide on the website is AWFUL.

This is literally the only picture I had of the bar mounted on the rack, it's mounted on the crossbar at the furthest holes foward.
It say to high for my liking though image.jpg

    Stormy,
That's how I have mine. It seems a really high and defeats the point of the cutout.
I'm thinking of flipping the brackets and making a steel plate that extends off of the top of the load bar.
    Thanks

Why not just mount it like this?

    F092C785-5D28-453F-9DD9-7F07792B5C46.jpg

Alternatively you can flip the crossbar down so the widest part faces forward, place the bar in the center and drill two holes completely through the crossbar and mounted it through. I did mine like that and it has been no issue for 2+ years.

    IMG_2353.jpg IMG_2354.jpg Geek,
The ONYX6 has a unique mounting bracket that requires the mounting bolt to be at 90 degrees to the light beam. There are two mounting bolt on ech smith of the light housing so you kind of have to use the bracket unless you fab one up. That puts it either really high or really low on the rack

Just noticed the other load bar mounting holes. That may solve my problem.
