    Here ya go @3378jakesr5 I tried it again with a picture where the lights are brighter in the tent which helps illuminate the truck better. The tent is a bit blown out now though which I couldn’t figure out how to fix in post very well.

    A small handful of select mods.
    That turned out pretty darn nice. I get lost in the sky and would not have noticed the tent if you hadn't said something. You even got a shooting star or satellite. That's awesome!

    Nikon D5100 with 18-55mm kit lens. No filters on the camera, but raw file edited in Adobe Lightroom. Settings were 18mm, f3.5, ISO 3200, 20 sec exposure.

    That's a great pic. Nice composition. Using a shorter exposure time will help produce crisper stars. At 20 seconds you're getting a little rotational blur. Generally for stars you want to stay near 10 seconds.
