What is this wheel? Anyone?

These are made by Ronal for Toyota. Came on my "17 dblcab SR-5 as standard equip. I didn't really like the SR-5 "bright" wheels or black wheels, but when saw these I like the look.

 

I think I found my wheel.

If you are lookin for these and can't find a set --check around at your local Toyota dealers. Sometimes dealers let take-off wheels go for a good price --that's how I got my 4Runner wheels.
Like I said in earlier -- there seems to be a whole bunch of the darker ones that got shipped with the last of the SR5 17's. Given this --there may be some "different believers" like me that did not like them all that much -- and had the dealer put something else on. One good thing about them -- they do not show dirt/brake dust at all. Bad thing -- they are a PIA to clean (too many little holes).

I'm going to go chat with the dealer at lunch. So hard to find a 16" wheel that I actually like. And I can imagine they're a PITA to clean.

 

If you don't find them at one dealer --try others -- I tried my purchasing dealer first -- they had none -- then two more -- got a hit on the 3rd. Actually got mine for 400 for the set. Seeing where you are from -- you should have lots of Toyota dealers not too far away.

 

Called every dealer from Denver to Arizona to Montana. Finally found a set of 4 take offs for $679 shipped. Best I could find and made the purchase

 

Not too bad --since shipping is in that price. I must be one of the "select" few who changed out these wheels!?

 

Those take offs showed up today. Not a scratch on them and really like the look/color. Will get pics up when I get them put on. Can't wait to dump my OR wheels

There's a chance I saw your truck while doing research to seal the deal. I checked to confirm we're in different states before purchase.

I would trade my TRD OR wheels for those(as long as I get to keep my good years)

 

What size tires are you running - those look sweet! I just got mine in but they have 245's...yours look a bit bigger.

Yup I got mine on my truck on the lot....window sticker just says alloy wheels under standard features....no appearance package, additional options, etc.. Just came like this! I love it, just want bigger tires.

 

Anyone wanna trade for these?

 

So glad I could be of help to you --sounds like you are a happy camper. I am happier with these same wheels gone -off of my truck! The OR wheels you have were not one of my choices -- the Sport model wheels were my second choice, if I hadn't found what I wanted in the 4Runner wheels.
The whole mystery to me is how can my new Yoko. Geo 015's can be quieter and ride smoother than the Firestone Destination LE2's ? The "yokos" are a AT tire while the Firestones are a hwy. tread?
The final thing that convinced me to swap out everything was I was reading the great reports on the firestones lasting 45-60K? By the time I would wear those out, I may forget what a tire and wheel is! I figured I may as well enjoy the "look" I desired on my truck while it is new. My wife of course thought I was nuts.

No rub with the OEM mud flaps, before and after I leveled the truck.
