I agree on the steel, it's what I went with. If I had a pro with fox shocks already and didn't plan to hammer the truck off road may have stayed lighter with the armor but concentrated on armor since I had suspension already. Pelfreybilt is out of California btw.

I looked at both arb and Pelfreybilt. Saw another members Pelfreybilt in person and was sold on it. Both are great and you can't go wrong either way imho. If it were me, I would try and meet up with some of the members here with other suspension set ups and see if you really want or need to change before you wear yours out. Good luck and enjoy the new addiction!!!

Sliders serve more than just protection from rocks. Protection from door dings and they're basically steps

Pretty sure @bryanbyers28 is. For the few times he's used it its been fine. Worst case just swap out the grease on it and it'll be just as good

I was pretty sure that's what he had. My experience with atv winches was pretty much big names and medium names were same reliability and both would detonate eventually. Wondered if there truly was a reliability gap in the truck sizes.

Not a 2.0, but i have the xrc 9.5 with synthetic line.

It was horrible to freespool and then I put different marine grease in and it feels like a winch should.

I was just about to do a search on the grease issue BYJOSHCOOK referenced! Thanks!!! I'm sitting here at home bored and if I had a winch I would be on a trail somewhere.

Instead of freespooling it by hand it would be easier to hooking to another truck and pull line out
