    Ya it was a bit chilly this morning, but I kept pushing through it. Getting the beam up in the air was a challenge when it's just me and the wife today. A floor jack and various sized 2x4's work wonders. Just for ref, 1.75 thickx 24" tally 28'

    Yea it’s a bitch for me not having help. I only ask for help if I really need it and that beam was a 2 person job. I’ve had to fix carpenters work around here with a beam made of 2x6 and floor jacks.
