Just wondering if it's normal. I jump in the truck this morning and normally keep the dual climate control synced and on auto on low setting (blowing through the main dash vents). It was cool this morning so I turned it up a bit and notice every few degrees passed 65 it kept changing air flow modes. At 66-68 it was just on feet then 68-72 both main and feet and above 72 it was only on feet. At 78 it was both again and back to feet after up to the max heat setting. Could be off by a few degrees but it seemed to be jumping around between modes. Never noticed it before, just curious.

Sounds like an upgrade to me

I wish mine would blow air out of something other than the dash vents in auto mode

Well that's good to hear i did a mod where i pulled the panels out and thought maybe i messed something up. I made sure everything was snug when i put it back in and everything seemed to work fine.

Normal, the air vents will change based on outside and inside temp, I noticed this almost 2 years ago when I bought the truck. Its a nice feature.

Just shows how shitty the weather is here when this is the first time in almost a year that I've had the truck that i didn't have the A/C on full blast lol.

My sr doesn't have it but if it's like the highlander we had, if u turn it towards heat it starts going to the floor because heat rises, and when u turn it cooler it comes back to the face or dash vents because cold air sinks. Just an educated guess but since our highlander did that too I'd say all Toyotas do.
