Okay all you Third Gen guys, I have a First Gen and I just recently picked up a pair of these rims.

I was told by my tire shop guy that I will need new lugs to fit them. These are my current lugs.

These are the current rims and where my lugs go.

My question is, what lugs do you guys run with these rims? I'm having a really hard time getting a definitive answer for this.

Well hell. I'm no wheel expert...but, I'm thinking as long as your nuts fit, they should work. Plenty of guys running their stock nuts with these wheels. :notsure:

Of course, I'm still thinking 2nd and Turd gen guys.

Toyota does have a similar acorn style that's a bit longer shank...maybe just grab those?

Okay godgz94, that gif was pretty funny. But its not that I need the kind to fit my 2002 rims, I need the kind to fit the new rims I have. I was told by my tire shop that my current ones would not fit. They said I need "Flat washer with a Smooth barrel". Which I'm having a hell of a time finding. So I figured that since this rim is from a 3rd gen, that you guys would have better insight into what I need.

I have those wheels and here is what's on them. Look very similar or the same as yours.20171027_173930.jpg 20171027_173922.jpg 20170928_172109.jpg

Just need to make sure of the depth and a snug fit in the wheel...

    Nice new shoes .
Yup I believe they are "acorn" style.
A quick eBay search will pull up plenty.

Your original lug looks correct. You want the flat shank style. Toyota uses them on most aluminum wheels. You do not want an acorn style. Those are used on steel wheels.
