It's a Smittybilt. I've been very happy with it so far. I paid $719 on 11/1/16, so if you have time, I suspect you could get it lower... $899 right now on Amazon.

    Undercover Ridgelander?

Edit: Nope. Looks like a tri-fold tonneau instead after a zooming in.

I can see maybe a RTT in the future- they are not much different than the VW Westfalia top I used to have- only on a much more off-road capable vehicle that is also a lot safer to drive! Has anyone used a Smittybilt on a Prinsu cabrac (the front over cab rack- not the larger over shell one)- how does it do?

Can't believe how viral that picture went.
My son, my buddy and myself were about a 1/2 mile offshore out of Depoe Bay Oregon pre fishing for a kayak tournament. We sat out in the ocean bobbing around on our kayaks watching all the commotion of fire trucks, police, etc.. running south down Hwy101 that day. Didn't know what it was all about until after the tournament, where the Depoe Bay Fire Chief (also a competing kayak fisherman) said he was the first responder to the hagfish spill. He joked that there is still a ton of free bait sliming up the sides of the road. All free if you can get past the smell!

    You can.
Like I said, found a used RTT for less. Got a cap needed paint (going to paint whatever I get anyway) for $80. Actually in that week I found 4 caps each listed at $80. odd, but you jump when opportunity raises it's head, especially when it's 4 blocks from you house! Ended up not liking the weight of the tent up so high, so sold the cap for what I had in it - pay it forward. Across the bed is good, but blocks view. Wish there were electric legs I could have it drop into the bed, but raise up when in use, or to store stuff under it on a trip.
Anyway, use Search Tempest or such, keep your eyes open & don't waffle. When it appears - JUMP. You can get set up under $800.

Great pictures! Did you do a coast to coast for the 150 celebrations? Like the 150 logo on your camper.

Hi Joe, greetings from Southern California! Please share more details of your Yukon trip: basic itinerary, routes taken, etc., so some of us from the lower latitudes might be able to see some of your beautiful country the same way! Absolutely beautiful photos, your red camper matches those fall colors very well!

We left for our trip on Aug 25 just north of Toronto Ont , since the focus of the trip was the Yukon and North West Territories ( Dempster Highway, North and South Canol Road ), and I'll start there . We arrived in the Yukon day 5 and because the Dempster in sensitive to rain we decide to schedule our trip around the weather . The Dempster highway runs from just south of Dawson city Yukon to Inuvik just south of the Arctic Ocean 730km (460 miles) one way . There is a new road about to open Nov 15 from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk , last winter was the last year for the ice road. We headed up the Dempster Aug 31 ,heres a few shots from day one ,start of the roadjhl.jpg
