Spent the last few hours removing all the ugly visor stickers on my TRD Sport. Was concerned about having trouble removing them from the fabric visors, but with some 91% rubbing alcohol and some Q tips, they came off relatively easy. Finished up with some Goo-Gone and a brush. Looks a bunch better. Ordered a black vinyl cover for the sticker on the back of the mirror because is not removable.

So you did not have any residue or sticker outline after removal?

Had some residue but kept wiping it with Goo-Gone and a clean white rag, lightly brushing and there is literally nothing left. The key is to keep wetting the sticker edge with the alcohol soaked Q-tips as you pull it away. Should also say that 70% alcohol does not work, get the 91%. The backside ones I will work on the residue in the coming days.

I have been wanting to do this since the day I got my truck but couldn’t figure out how. I’m definitely going to give this a try, thanks!

@rrentrop makes stickers to cover those stickers.... I got some with the Toyota Logo on them... worked real well...

My issue is we have a damn French version also (Cdn Truck).... I'm thinking some sort of sticker should cover them...!

Did mine last year and it was dead simple. Didn't bother with the mirror side just the one you see when they are flipped up. Couple pro tips:
    - Remove visors from the truck, it's like one screw and one connector. Like 5 min.
    - Use a hair dryer to warm the sticker then peel it off. First one came off perfect, second one had a tiny amount of residue left. Again 5-10 min then reinstall.

Yes takes awhile to get the residue off, but spraying on goo-gone and using a white rag works very well. Takes more than just one time but the goo-gone makes the adhesive ball up so a brush will remove it. Just takes some patience. I did not take them off or use a hair dryer.

    What stickers?

Do I have another issue with my 3rd Gen I wasn't aware of?

    Shibby! Stickers gone.

Alcohol, q-tips, and GoofOff. It looked so much better with just the residue, but the GoofOff worked like a champ:

Is the goo gone still wet in your picture? Wondering if you will still be able to tell a sticker was there.

You are more determined than I. I hate the sticker but just covered it up with a grid-it visor organizer.

Hahaha! Thank you for jump starting this.

Yes. But, the flash made it more noticeable than is really there. Once dry, it is unnoticeable except that I have to get another spot or two.

Yeah, but I don't like the visor organizers either. Regardless, warning stickers just need to go. =P
