It is pretty high. Reminds me of my Camaro cowl. Will take getting used to, that is for sure.

Went with U402's, I think they're rated for 700-800lbs. The ride in the rear is stiffer, but I don't mind it. I do plan on adding weight in the rear (softtopper, bed rack, etc). The front coilovers are ridiculous. I've been testing them out and they eat up bumps like they're nothing.

Removed the rear seat on the driver’s side and put in a platform with D-rings in it so I could lash down a SnoMaster 56D fridge & freezer. If you’re taller than 5’9” it might not work for you but it fit perfectly for where I had my front seat position set. 22147AC5-C65F-40ED-A8B8-F2529832CA66.jpg
With the platform I can still get into the compartment below it.

I've had my new Tacoma since Tuesday of this week.....came home from work yesterday and parked it next to my wife's new ride that she'd just brought home from the same dealer hours before.....I guess we can put up at "Toyota Parking Only" sign, lol.

I'm happy for her. Her '08 Maxima was showing some age.....and was a beast to get in/out of because it was insanely low to the ground. I'm due for knee replacements and was not enjoying that experience.

She is really jazzed up about it. It's the perfect sized SUV for what she needed and it drives really well. I like what they've done with this RAV-4 interior.

Swapped out the headlights with LEDs. The light is definitely a better white and smoother. I'm a little concerned the regular beam isn't going to be bright enough now. I'll have to give it an actual test drive tonight to see for sure. The high beams are definitely an improvement though.

New black/gray TRD OR 4x4 decals arrived today to round out my badging change up. Wasn't originally planning to do any of it, lol... but it all started when I put a black flag decal on the door. Then thought the chrome Tacoma emblem didn't look quite right anymore, so I painted that gunmetal... then shortly after that thought the silver/white decal on the bed didn't quite look right... and, well, there you have it.

Now if the wind would just stop howling, and the off/on rain go away, I could give it a bath and maybe rake up those leaves!

Well, if I remember correctly, I used to have around 11.25 inches of clearance at one point on the truck, and now I have about 14.75 inches at that same point. So around 3.5 inches.
