Wife just went to pie truck.

I'm so full that I almost forgot, finished the meal with this......

I had a totinos party pizza

 

I had, what I thought would be the perfect meal planed out. Been thinking about it all day, but we got there the site of all that good food just shot my idea out the window.

Oh well maybe next time....

And coffee to wash it all down.

 

When you move up this way - off of Dessau (between Howard and Wells Branch), there's a pizza joint called Marco's Pizza. In the parking lot of a gas station.

Pretty decent grub, actually. Nothing high flautin' or fancy, but beats Papa John's. And if you end up moving to the Parmer / Dessau area, I'll save you the hassle - do not order from Pizza Hut.

Coming from an area where pizza is actually awesome( east coast) AJs in Leander has been real good so far but I’m still on the hunt. He’s from New York and it’s connected to heb plus

 

Back home, if I can say that anymore the place to go was Godfathers. I have yet to have one better then that....

 

I was TDY to New Jersey, God, almost 20myears ago. Mom and pop place with a ginormous brick oven. Fresh ingredients, home made everything. Crust was crisp yet soft and chewy, sauce was rich but not heavy...sooooo goood.

I do not doubt that a real godfather ate there.
