Was my Tacoma supposed to come with a bungie net thing like the one that goes behind the seats in folded down area behind the rear passenger side? I just noticed similar tabs inside the center console for mounting a net, but I didn't get one with my truck.

Yes, you were supposed to receive a net for the center console. I would go back to the dealership and have them give you one.

Dealer told me that they've never seen one. I know the fleet manager at the dealership where I got my taco, and he said he'd never seen one either and wanted to check it out. We cruised around and checked out 4 new tacos just like mine and none of them had the net (checked the glove box, the storage bins under and behind the rear seat, etc). Their accessory shop didn't have any idea what it was either.

Dang, sounds like a lot of us didn't get the center net.... I'm e-mailing my sales guy to see if he can get one. I'll let you all know what I find out.

That's what I heard about a year ago. Had my truck over 5 years and only knew about the center console net because it came with that one (was ina bag in the glove box with the trailer wiring adapter. I've never even noticed the tabs for the net behind the seats, and I've never even seen a picture of it.

I ordered one from Toyotapartscheap.com. It's a perfect size to put my conceal carry gun behind it. Go here and see item #15.

I have mine loaded with random junk that I didn't really want floating around elsewhere (golf glove, tees, some towels, etc). The JBL really limits the usefulness of the compartment. Perhaps if the sub could be squished into the smaller bin on the drivers side?
