All god damn day. Trips back and forth to Lowe’s. Finally got it supported enough. Had to add some temporary brackets to the rack. Once I get back I’ll plasma cut some better support brackets. But trays on and bike fit.

Eesh, just took it for a test drive, and I was right! The new regular beams throw next to no light at all. Was going to take it out on the highway, but was afraid to even leave the neighborhood with how dark it was. The high beams are great though. Not sure if I bought the wrong bulbs, or if I somehow installed them incorrectly. Purchased the ones off the LED conversion thread, so not sure how they could be the wrong ones.

That is the main complaint with LED bulbs in 3rd gen factory housings. No distance. Just a blob of bright light that has no reach. Already had an unsuccessful attempt at LED bulbs in the factory fog housings.

I used the GTR G3 in my lows and they are great. Bright and good throw distance. Might want to give them a try.

Do you have a link? Just searched on Amazon for GTR G3 and nothing popped up.

I saw those for around $130 for a pair of bulbs. Would have to be a long warranty to be worth the money for me.

So I was able to finish the install of my bed LEDs. This whole thing went perfect. I just went through a fun couple of weeks modding. Now time to slow down for a few. The light is very clean and exactly what I was looking for. This is at night with no other lights.

Things done in the past couple of weeks:
    Accent LEDs
    Bed LEDs
    Switches/custom switch plate
    3rd bed rail
    Diamondback tonneau

So much fun. This truck is definitely mine now.

Dammit... those stripes are badass! Good work on those! And the way more complicated stuff above them.

I'm finally happy with my grille (the bottom one from the SR5). I hate the stock OR grille and didn't like it plasti dipped either. I also de-baged the doors today, which I never thought I'd do, but I like it much better now.
