Still find it hilarious that 01-04 edition with a little less power and head room was offered at $22k tops for all package. Now, I wouldn't pay that price for a mid-size, because a full size is right around the corner.

Me too!! I have a Cement DCLB OR on "order" that hasn't even been allocated for production yet. Most of the allocations, so far, in my region have been SB as of Friday.

How did you settle on a purchase price without base prices being officially out and option package pricing being unknown?

Yah, I've wondered that myself. How can you agree on a price to purchase something if you don't know how much it costs? Unless you don't 'care' how much it costs.. ?

2xCab, I ordered a 2018 TRD Sport 6MT back in September, and it currently has a November 17th build date. At the time of purchase we agreed that the price would obviously be going up due to the addition of TSS-P and inflation. We assumed about $1,000 but, if it was an increase out of line with historical averages, I wasn’t “stuck” in this truck since they tend to sell through them without trouble.

On a side note, I just sold out Grand Cherokee today, so I’ll be DD’ing the Scat Pack until the truck arrives. With a Nov 17th build date in Texas, how long would it take for the truck to get to Michigan? I’m concerned about waiting too far into December and running into snow....and salt. :infantry:

As noted, 7593 shows up under my ordering options as a fleet 4x4 V6 6MT. Technically I don't think this is even an SR. Our ordering system lists "Tacoma - Tacoma SR - Tacoma SR5 - etc...." Oddly, the only model listed under this selection is 7593.

    I don't see anything under any models that show a 2.7 6MT (or 5MT).

Nothing more than protecting profits, there is a much lower margin on SR models vs the TRD packages. They'll say demand isn't there but demand is gone due to supply being non-existent. Toyota offers it to fleets to bump their overall sales numbers.

Thanks! I wish I was closer, I'd go check it out just for giggles.
