How much has your truck changed?

Ive seen this beauty in an other post and after searching, I now have to ask! Where did you get that wonderful grill? Did you put the light bar in yourself or is it pre-assembled like that? I really really want one! My truck is fairly new to me and looks ike your before, but I want it to look like your after lol.

 

When I bought it, Bro-Comp 6 inch lift and big shiny wheels...

Now, much more respectable, usable and comfortable.

 

Two different trucks? Or a front end conversion and paint job.

 

As much as I like to read the build threads, I almost like the before and after picture concept better.

I totally agree but like, in my before/after pics dont show the aftermarket stereo and backup camera that I added and usually the build threads will go into detail about the different mods added but for quick glance reference, these before/after pics are great.

285/75/16 BFG KO2

 

a week off the lot to 5 months off the lot to a year off the lot and now my new girl

 

I think I'm going to be bumping up to that size tire here soon. My 265/75/R16 Ko2's are wearing down quite a bit; I may get another 2 years out of my current tires but at this moment I could sell em and get the 285's!

How much of a MPG hit did you take with the wider and much heavier tire? I notice the 285/75R16's only came in an E rated also just like the 265's I currently have. I have been debating on the 285's lately as they are a good 5-10+lbs heavier but I also don't feel like taking a big hit on my MPG as I have already loss about 4-5mpg hwy with my current 265's

Did you trim your cab mount to clear?

Good lord, you should not have lost that much. What psi are you running?

 

I've been 38psi front and 36psi rear; seems to be the best for my tire wear. But been averaging 16mpg hwy; maintenance is up to date; new plugs about 15k miles ago, synthetic fluids all around. alignment is good. I just took it as having the one size larger and heavier tire that's affecting my mpg.
