I can tell you resetting and calibrating the vsc doesn’t do anything. I tried that.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
It's actually case and point of why I tell people who plan to mod, to buy a base model with only the stuff they just have to have, like cab size, bed length, motor/auto/manual
    And skip everything else
Cause you either end up chucking it or hating it after enough mods

Sometimes I wish I would have gotten a manual access cab base model and just tossed in arb. Instead of the almost top model automatic I got. Haha

Now this is a cab mount chop. Also if you are wondering it is possible to use a sawzall to cut a body mount. Just expect to sit there for an hour and lose all strength in arms.

How you going to weld the top of the plate? There is no way to get the gun in there unless you lift the body

Good point. I might recess it in a little. Then I can get a full weld around it.

@Caboose117 how much clearance so you have between your bump and the control arm at ride height? Mine is super close. I might have to shorten the stroke by an inch.

@90yota good call in welding the top half. I was going to half ass it and leave the top open. But it’s pribably a good idea that I welded the top. Don’t mind the blue stuff on the top. The bushing got really hot and I tried to cool it with a sorta wet microfiber towel. It just melted.

Oh and I still stuck at welding upside down.

Eff. No. I hammered it back a little. I’m calling it good. I really can’t handle any more cutting. I’m pretty sure over the year I’ve shaved off a good portion of life from breathing in metal dust and welding fumes. :violent:

Rig is looking Sweet! That's an insane amount of work :bananadance:

I just started my CMC today. What a pain in the ass. I think it is still going to hit when stuffed. I really wanted to run 37's, but it would be tight even with the DB lift.

I like cutting things :sawzall:, but some of those 2nd gen pics when your staring at the back side of the pedals, gives me anxiety AF.

And I know how to cut :rofl::rofl:
