Yeah I used to live in AK. Broken windshields seem like a right of passage there, almost everyone has them and doesn't bother to get them fixed because it will just happen again haha. I made a couple mistakes the first time I sprayed: 1) I only bought 3 cans, felt i could've used a couple more. 2) I sprayed the entire exhaust system (luckily the film has a very high flash point) and it burned off over the next few weeks. People look at you weird when you get out of your truck and it's smoking haha

Nah, just plastidip. If it peels I'll do it properly next time. Just didn't feel like fucking with cutting the new adhesive

Not extremely difficult if you ever feel like doing it. My adhesive is 3 or so years old and came off fine using blowdryer and fishing line.

I'm not worried about the old stuff. Cutting the new stuff, unless the sell precut pieces?

Broke camp for the last time with the FlipPac this morning at the paramotor field near Peoria, IL. Went to the PPG fly-in they were hosting and restoked the fire to get started with lessons and do my own flying. And yes, it was a very cold 30° F this morning while they were flying.

An update on my tailgate gap seal. Took the scouts to URE this weekend and went down several dirt roads the dust didn't get in from the tailgate area. Also drug a bunch of stuff over it that was pretty heavy and didn't pull up some minor scuffing from pulling my heavy box (~90lbs) of tie downs, ratchet straps, tow straps and chains. So far good to go ! Now only time will tell the long term how long it will last.
