I’m flabbergasted by the prices of vehicles now. Of course most are stretching payments to 72 and 84 months in order to buy it. However, I can’t fault the manufacturers if people are willing to pay the price. I would raise it too :)

In the press release, it state's that the tow package is optional. In all the earlier info we've been seeing for the 2018's, it is standard equipment. I wonder which is correct.

Pretty sure it's standard equipment. I've seen it / heard it from several different sources.

If we ever repealed the “chicken tax” we’d have competition in the compact and mid-size segments again. Until then(probably never) they can pump up the price and sell you a bunch of features you don’t want and sell every single one.

I just got a different dealer that does have the 18 trd off road coming just like I want should be here 1st week dec. Going in in morning to see them to make sure they will offer same deal as other dealer who already gave me trade value on mine and agreed to sell new one for $1800 under msrp. so if they take it ill put deposit. My other dealer still says he cant get any order or anything still. So hopefully this dealer will do same and ill have my truck hopefully by my birthday which is first weekend in Dec,,, Went by PF Adventure today and got set up on what suspension he will order and ill order plus bumpers and many other items(man it is a lot of $$) because it will take 6 weeks to get it all in. Cant wait hope it works tomorrow

So does this mean that the front bumpers will now be color matched.

That’s the least they could do after axing the 2.7 mated to the M/T.

In the previous page, someone pasted the large summary of the 2018, and in there I saw a line Tacoma's will be available in 30 different configurations. And some models will only come with short bed. Like the Pro. So I did a quick mental math. I could be wrong.

I like that everyone with an access can thinks they have to denote that it's a long bed when they are talking about it...ACLB. No, it's just an AC. They are all the same bed length.

Did the new dealer put the order in already with a confirmation on the build date. I have a build date of Nov 20 and won't see the truck until mid Dec. My order was place on Oct 3rd and got confirmation on the build two weeks later.

I read Toyota has recently increased production of the Taco so hopefully there will be plenty of 2018's available. Maybe, just maybe there will be a few more manual transmissions out there so there wont be a 60 day wait to order one.
