Is acceptable when you go off roading to make sure you remember you went off roading. I recently experienced this.

Never would have happened without @Sandman614 teaching @Eyrie how to spot! Love to see some pics!

That's all good because I probably wont have a free weekend until mid December. Off to Germany for a few weeks for work.

On another note, what does everyone recommend to get road tar off of paint without damaging the finish? They're repaving Dorchester road and apparently some idiot thoght it would be a great idea to let traffic drive over a surface just sprayed with a tack coat and I had no way to avoid it. :annoyed::frusty:

Any idea on the brand? I've read all kinds of shit about WD40, kerosene, diesel fuel (go figure), and about a hundred different products. I'm planning to tackle it tomorrow before it gets too cold. Hopefully since it hasn;t had much time to set it'll come off nice and easy, and there is A LOT to clean off. I didn't even take a picture of the front of the truck but the whole grill and bumper are covered in this shit.

I just wonder if the truck would come out of that experience worse than when it went in. My father just went through some shit after a maintenance crew mowing the easement next to his shop put a rock through his passenger side window. 2 months and 3 replacements later he finally got it taken care of. The town sprung for the cheapest replacement glass they could find and the clowns installing it scratched the hell out the car and broke 2 windows getting it fixed.
