Yup, and its still the best selling mid size truck because everyone loves them. Nobody makes a truck that will make everyone happy.

Four wheel disc brakes are not needed on a Toyota 4x4 or most trucks for that mattet. The drums on my 85 and 97 Toyota trucks lasted 3 times longer than the fronts ever did.

No issue stopping those trucks with rear drums, even without ABS.

Then why do 99% of the trucks now have them. Toyota may as wheel go with 4 wheel drums, they are great after all

How many times is there going to be a rear brake discussion?

People complain about not having disc brakes. But no-one complains about the stopping ability of the Truck. Weird.

So I'll buy that drum brakes are adequate enough to stop the truck. No big deal but what's the reasoning for not giving us power seats!! I'll most likely be buying a 2018 soon but I'll be feeling like a sucker the whole time. Toyota seems to be squeezing us counting on the fact that we'll still buy without the bells and whistles because of their reputation for reliability.

Or until those that don't understand brakes, quit bringing it up.

    99% of Tacoma drivers don't go off-road? 80 maybe.

Why does the truck need power seats? How often do you actually adjust your seat im a day that it requires a silly buttom to do it for you? What would you do in your spare time with the amount of time and energy it saves you?

I don't care if the seats are power or not but they should at least have some height adjustability.

Although I don't need it myself, I can understand a need for a manually adjusted seat height for folks with longer legs than mine.

So I stand corrected. Don't mind them not being power seats BUT would like more adjustability. Height, seat angle, lumbar etc.

I wonder how hard it would be to merge the needed parts from another vehicle to make this a viable mod for those that could use a few more adjustments in their seats?
