I paid about $2100, but I got the XR and I got a a removable sliding window. This included carpet lining on the inside of shell and install. LA area. I haven't got it yet, but when I do I can tell you more about the quality of Leer and the shop who installed it.

Ya, I'm really diggin the sleek design. Vinyl wrapped would be sweeeet.
    Anyone have issues of leaking?
Never had a shell before, but strongly considering one now.
    Mildew, etc?

Question to any Leer 100QX owners on the gen 3. How did this shell effect your gas mileage?

The A.R.E. from other owners said it negatively affected because the shell sits higher than the downward portion of the cab.

This doesn't look so on the LEER 100QX which I dig. Definitely considering this shell, looks beautiful. +1 LEER

IMG_0387.jpg Just got my 100XQ installed Monday by Cap World for $2,045 + Tax. This included adding the sliding removable front window and keyless entry options. I had already installed a power tailgate, so it made the keyless entry easy for them to install. Color match was spot on and I really love the keyless option. This is my 4th 100XQ purchased from them, so they cut me some slack. Pretty good price, especially for the D.C. Metro area where nothing is cheap. $2,500 + Tax seems insanely high.IMG_0388.jpg

Was it water tight from the installer? What did he do to get it that way?

I got a 100XR last week and the installer is telling me no truck/cap is water tight, especially tacos. I love the looks of the cap and the functionality, but if it leaks (around the front corners) it's pretty much useless, especially since I planned on sleeping back there.

they put this black play-do-esq shit in the cracks and i have NEVER had a leak. I have even had to realign the cap a few times after running some trails and have yet to have and issue. i can hit it with a pressure washer with no problems.

no reinforcement, just the standard shell with the headliner. dealer said it is good to support 250 lbs static. if you need more capacity you could always get the shell without the liner and Line-X the roof like @Bray1197 did.
