Now that it's been almost a week, how do you like the Falkens, specifically road noise? About to replace my tires and these are on the list. My Coopers have been great, but with now over 40k miles, they are HOWLING down the road and it's driving me nuts! Thanks

The same shit everyone else has.
Well today, I realized my truck was almost a complete month out of inspection. Whoops. I started to get it ready for PA inspection. Removed the rear platform and put the rear seats back in, undid the any time fog lights, disconnected my auxiliary back up lights, and removed any valuable like my fly rods from the truck. I need to remove the wheel spacers and roof rack/light bar then its ready for inspection this week

It won't pass inspection with any of that stuff on it?

    https://www.pacode.com/secure/data/067/chapter175/subchapEtoc.html

PA allows 1 set of auxiliary fog/driving lamp, wheel spacers no wider than 1/4" inch, and fog lights must only work with the low beams.

Its not super horrible and Id actually prefer that PA does inspect vehicles. Driving in Ohio can be scary because of some of the cars on the road. Some of the stuff on the list is silly like the multiple auxiliary lights though.

Heres the full inspection procedure -

I usually have my buddy inspect it and he throws stickers on it but he doesnt have the time right now. I dont mind spending an hour getting it ready.

I think safety inspections are good, as my truck always passes with flying colors and it only costs like $20. Emissions inspections are pointless, considering how far vehicles have come in terms of efficiency and technological advancement. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs, and New Jersey to me is like Ohio to you. Unlike NJ, which requires emissions statewide, Ohio only requires it in Cleveland and the surrounding area. Both states, however, do not require safety inspections. NJ did away with safety inspections in like 2010, and I go there quite frequently for car shows. In Pennsylvania, you can fail inspection just because of a crack in your windshield being too large or headlight pointing downward. In New Jersey, it can be a rusted pile of shit with bad brakes and one or more lights out, being held together with string and gum, but if it passes emissions it's legal!

I actually take care of my truck, so I've never failed an inspection, but just in case I do have a buddy who's a mechanic who will slap an inspection sticker on it without a second glance...

Our state inspection in texas is as long as no check engine light and tires aren't bald. You'll pass.

Now that we have the trailer we rarely use it. And since I’ve always wanted a tray and canopy I figure it’s time to pass it on to someone who will use it.

Racked up almost 2k miles in a week on these. They're noticeable quieter than the BFGs and got rid of my annoying steering wheel shake on highway.

I was considering Cooper AT3/ATPs, but went with the Falkens based on reviews. They also look really bad ass in person.
