haha, well, 540k is a bit too high for me, but I'm sure you take good care of your truck and that it will last you for much longer. Plus you have the advantage of being located where it's not too harsh for cars.... unlike up here, lol

I'd like to see you beat the 988k record XD
(he had the 2rz - 2.4l, but still it would be awesome)

I'm heavily considering putting a clause in my will that states that I will use my tacoma as a coffin and be buried in it...

Op, I'd pick it up at that price. If you really don't like or want the auto, replace it it with a manual and then proceed to enjoy hundreds of thousands of miles in a reliable truck....:burnrubber:

Now the guy just texted me and says that he thinks his grandfather wants to buy it, but he will let me know for sure. I just responded, need to know by tomorrow night at the latest.

I'm not into playing games either

Same here. I only like working with people that follow a logical path and are good communicators unless there's a great deal involved with something I know almost everything about and can assess quickly and easily.

The guy just took the ad he had posted down. Wasted my time, don't like people like that. Had arrangements to go

    Dear Jon or Vettehigh,

Good Luck in getting the 1995 Tacoma you desire. I wish you the best of luck. Here is a little trick in buying new cars, used cars or any high ticket item. The best approach is to take out a piece of paper or create a computer file, and write down a list of all the options you have to have with your new item or in your case a Tacoma. Do not pay any attention to the price of the item until you have exactly what you want worked out on a computer file or paper. Then go shopping for the item that completely meets your criteria. You can start paying attention to price once you have seen a lot of items that meet your criteria.

    Good Luck,
    Paul

    I think you scared them!!

Asking far to many good questions ??

So many get over come with the Tacoma Lust they fail to see major problems till the wheels fall off on the way home

I still feel something was not quite right about the whole frame being replaced and a up close in person inspection may have shown the short comings .

    Best of Luck

Nobody was buying that except me. I had cash and was going to get it sat/sun, he knew that. The only offers he had were BS ones. So last night he comes up with the grandfather story

I'm in Binghamton NY so I would travel up to 3.5 hours one direction if need be. Just need to find that one in the next few weeks because I need a 4x4 asap

I'll pay a finders fee if someone finds me the one I want also

Are you going to be ok with the 4cylinder??

This is the wrong time of year to be shopping for a 4x4 in this neck of the woods!!
