No shit....would ya look at that! I wish that was available when I was regearing earlier this year! They didn't make them at that time (I searched high and low and talked to ECGS). If it were me, doing it again, 4.30 might be perfect. In the end I landed on 4.56 on the premise I MIGHT end up with an even larger tire size in the future. :D

What about using 4.10 front and rear from a 4 banger?

You could swap the whole diffs over which can be done in just a few hours but probably hard to come by

According to east coast gear supply the tech told me the didn’t make 4.30’s for second gen Tacoma’s. Where did you here they make them? Can you confirm?

Using the general formula: (Stock tire size x new tire size) / (Old tire size) = new ratio

    (3.73 x 33) / (30.6) = 4.02

4.10 would be slightly low, but given added tire weight I think it should be fine. I likely won't go up to 4.30 or 4.56... I currently sit at 1900-2000 RPM cruising @65 on 31.6" tires with stock gearing.

1900 rpm is to low. Your actually stressing the motor sitting that low. Creating poor fuel mileage. Not that we drive tacomas because they get great mileage but I'd like to conserve what little I can. I'm gonna go with 4.30 when I get the cash. That sounds like it will be the sweet spot.

I’m sticking with 32” all terrains only difference is that they will be E rated tires. So with the extra weight on the new tire by 10 plus lbs (each tire) I’ll most likely regear to 4.10. I would like to to go with 4.30 but after some research they don’t make that size for 2nd gen Tacoma’s

Homertaco runs 35s and 4.56 gears on his V6 6 speed manual. He says he wishes he would have gone with 4.10 for on road driving. That says a lot to me. He does have a crawl box and 3 stick t case for off road.

    There's that too

I am wanting to put 4.10s on my Taco with 33s though. Homer's suggestion just made me more comfortable with the idea.
