He said the frame is rusty by the control arms which can be sucky.

If you would like, I would have to contact my buddy to see how much he would charge to pick it up, or maybe my blue truck could tow it with a uhaul

 

Yeah just depends if it’s surface rust or the nasty flakey rust surface rust is no big deal crumbles would make me run away

 

I could tow it with a uhaul, I believe the runner weighs 3.5k trailer is another 1.5k I'll set it up and send the info to you. I don't plan on paying more than 500.

 

I know a good mechanic I trust but he is nowhere near Boston. Probably an hour South.

 

Sounds good, I wouod try to get it for $300 if he hasnt been able to sell it yet

 

At that point I'd get it just for the wheels and part it out lol

 

Made it home from Rochester safe and sound. Five and a half hour drive in the rain, and as we got closer to home the downpour was even worse. Getting hammered right now by a bad ass storm. Crazy rain and even worse winds. Praying that I don't lose power. That would fucking suck.

 

Better make sure the battery back up in your alarm clock is good!

 

I use my phone for that.

Well he says he has a few people interested including the usual bottom dwellers and isn't in a rush to get rid of it. Aiming to see it Wednesday night after work. I'll update ya.

...now ($100 on the hood), tonight (2nd $100 on the hood), I'm going to have to redo the brakes after sitting a year (3rd $100), all these pine needles rotting out the fenders (rubbing a 4th $400 in half as you reconsider), guy w/ cash here now looking to revive it, not part it out.... (5th 100 on the hood). (Bring a magnet in case it's windy so they don't blow away - good to check for Bondo too.)

Have some fun with it, but cash in his face will get you a signed title.

My ThinkPad is about 2 years old. The build quality is definitely great. I also have a lower spec'd Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1, and even the build quality on that is better than many other brands. I originally bought an Asus with higher specs, but felt flimsy. Especially the lid.

 

Not a good night/morning.

My street has no power, but to add to that, I'll be out of it for a few days probably. At about midnight, a loud noise and lights out. Go outside to check it out... A tree fell on my power lines and ripped it clean off the pole on the street. Called Eversource to put in to get it fixed. Called them at midnight, was on hold for almost an hour, but finally picked up. Can't give me an idea of when it'll get fixed, obviously. Kids were asleep, so let them sleep and woke up at 5:30, and came to the in-laws so we could get ready for work. Packed up everything last night so we were ready to roll this morning.

 

They actually work pretty fast despite how long their coffee breaks are.

We got hammered with down trees last night. Still clearing main rds. A few fires and down wires all over town.

 

I dunno man. I have a feeling this is going to be a few days, at least. Schools around us are dropping like flies this morning, with the closings.

 

No school for the kids in my town. We never lost power though. Hope you get your power back soon Nuno
