I'm thinking of bidding on this truck. As you can see, on the front bumper there is a dent. The seller tells me its a $150 repair. I wanted to see if you guys thing that's an accurate figure or not. Sounds pretty cheap to me.
You can't tell from the pics but there is some paint damage besides just the dent. So how much should it cost for the repair?

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
MY thought is if it only costs $150 to repair, it should have been repaired before listing it. Might be a sketchy half-assed repair and you'd be stuck with it since he is saying he'd have it done after the vehicle is purchased.

The truck is a bank repo, so that's why it wasn't repaired. I work for a bank and we never repair anything before we sell one. The most we might do is wash it.
The good thing is live close to the seller. I went to look at the truck the other day. Looks very nice besides the one ding.

What does a front bumper/paint cost these days?

    More than an offroad bumper.

Unless you want a Timberland Mica bumper, I know where you can get one of those real cheap:D
